Excuse my after-prom face and hair, but but, I MET SHAILENE WOODLEY AT MY PROM.

Here’s how it went down.
Our ride fell through to get to the restaurant after prom, so we were waiting in the Lobby and our Assistant Principal threatened to call a cab if he came back and we were still waiting, so we hid in the bathroom. After about 20 mins in there, I was freaking out because in my head, hiding from an AP meant not graduating, so we were about to leave when this girl walks in that I recognize. And I lean over to my friend, “that’s the girl from secret life of the american teenager.” “what?” “that’s the girl from secret life of the american teenager.” “WHICH ONE?” “The main one.” and she begins freaking out in a whisper so Shailene can’t hear us. So I put a plan into action to meet her, so I announce “Man, I have to PEE.” So I went to the bathroom and by the time I’m out, they’re talking. So I walk up and say, “Hi, I’m Shaye.” And she was like “Hi, me too.” And we started talking and I stopped, because I remembered that when I was little I was obsessed with American Girl Dolls and my favorite was Felicity and she played Felicity in the movie. So literally the first thing after hi, I say, “When you played Felicity. I. I. I was so JEALOUS.” Because in all reality, at age 8, I thought I was going to make it big by the time they made a Felicity movie. We had a fantastic conversation and she gave us the kindest advice on becoming actors and then she was about to leave and I was like, “WAIT! You were just in a movie with George Clooney.” And that’s when I realized, I’ve been going off about a made for TV movie to a girl who was in an OSCAR WINNING MOVIE.
She also mentioned how the love of my life George Clooney farts a lot.
And also Prom was awesome.
